Welcome to Blythgate Manor, part of the Prestwick Care Group. Located in Blyth, our purpose-built 60-bedroom care home is ideally situated on a direct bus route with convenient access from Blyth, Cramlington, Morpeth, Ashington, and Newcastle. The home is also close to local supermarkets, the town centre, and the beautiful Northumberland coastline and beaches.

Our home provides personal and nursing care across four dedicated units: Alnwick, Bamburgh, Ford, and Lindisfarne. We are committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each resident’s individual needs, creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where residents feel safe, valued, and at home.

All bedrooms are spacious and include en-suite facilities with a toilet and wash basin. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with photographs, ornaments, and treasured belongings to help create a familiar and homely atmosphere. Communal bathrooms and shower rooms are also available on each of the four units to support residents’ individual care needs.

At Blythgate Manor, we are dedicated to promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life through personalised care and meaningful relationships. Our experienced and caring team work closely with residents and families to ensure care and support remain responsive to changing needs and personal preferences. The home also has the flexibility to support residents moving between units should dependency levels or care requirements change over time.
